8 Tips for Your Next Disney World Vacation
Tricks and tips I have learned visiting Disney World
In May 2006, we decided to go to two Disney World parks, Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. My daughter turned three years old in January of that year.
Tip #1. Your children are free when they are under three years old.
A lot has changed since 2006. At the time, the fast pass system was something completely different. In 2014, the now reimagined Fastpass+ went digital. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book your FastPass+ ride times sixty days in advance. All others can book their ride times 30 days in advance.
The times will book up quickly, especially for the newest attractions. But, people cancel when it gets closer to the day of your visit. You may have the best luck on the day of your visit. You can only make three reservations a day, and people change their minds. It isn’t easy to anticipate what you want to do 30 or 60 days in advance, not to mention having your whole group agree.
Also, you will need to get a MagicBand. The MagicBand will be scanned for your reservation times at the attractions. It will also be used as your key to Disney hotels and can be used as a credit card if you choose.
Tip #2. Do not bring a bag or backpack to save you time in the line to the park…
